I THINK I'M LOST IN THE LETTERS.
[/blockquote][/ul]
, but you can call me maddi, madster, miss woods comma elle or collins. my birthday's july second, 1986, so if you're too lazy to do the math, that means i'm twenty-four years old right now. currently, i teach theatre/drama at newport high. i'm also a female, in case you couldn't tell. oh! and i'm also straight , and if you can live with that, i'm sure we'll be great friends."[/blockquote][/ul]

WHEN HER REPLY MEANT EVERYTHING. [/blockquote][/ul]
"You look really familiar! Have I seen you before?"
"okay, so im blonde at the moment although my natural colour is a lot lot darker. people say i look like sheridan smith but i think she’s prettier than me. my hair is in like a shaggy bob at the moment but im contemplating growing it, it was easier to have it short when i was wearing a wig almost everyday. i’m a tiny 5”2 but i quite like being short. i don’t have any tattoos and i only have piercings in my ears."
"So, what do you like?"
"um, well of course i love to sing and dance and act as that’s pretty much what i do for my life. i love to shop and use different accents to confuse people. i love musicals and just sitting in a theatre and getting immersed in a story that is being shown to me by some incredibly talented people. i love spotting people with immense talent and getting them jobs or helping them on their way. i do love to just sit and watch tv with a bar of chocolate and a glass of wine. i also love to go out and party though i guess that must stop now im a teacher. and one last thing? i love spontaneity."
"And the things you could live without? What about them?"
"well, queues, i know im english and im supposed to love them but i really hate queuing. i would love there to be no more stalkers and stuff like that because id love to be able to spend more time with my fans without worrying. im not a big fan of wigs, they make my head itch haha. i really dislike adverts. i think the world would be better if people use their words better, no more mixed messages. i don’t like that VAT is added on after in america, it always throws me for a loop. i don’t like shoes that look amazing but kill your feet. i could do without dust, eh I hate dust. morning breath i could live without that."
"And what are the things you just can't stand?"
"i hate when people who don’t know the words to a song mumble over the top of a track, drives me mad. another thing, i don’t like modesty, if you can sing just admit it, i don’t like it when people are all ‘ooh, no im rubbish’ and then they get up and belt an amazing song."
"Do you have any bad habits? What about good ones?"
"i sing all the time so that could be bad. i bite my nails so i had to have fake ones for legally blonde. i talk in my sleep too and sometimes sleep walk which can be annoying. i also like to involve myself in things i should probably stay out of."
"Oh, really? Well, how about the secrets?"
"ooh secrets… um i auditioned for stacey on gavin and stacey but they said i was a little too rough… which was why i decided to screw them and i auditioned for legally blonde"
"And the fears?"
"im scared of being a bad role model and my students getting bad grades."
"Do you have any special talents?"
"well i act, sing and i attempt to dance, that’s what i do."
"And last but not least, what's your relationship status/history?"
"well, im single but hoping that won’t take too long. i have a habit of dating my costars but now i don’t have any of those im going to have to learn how to actually date. of course im not a virgin i mean im twenty-four that’d be weird."
call me up to confess
THAT IT'S ME YOU THINK ABOUT.[/ul]"Where were you born?"
"okay, well im from lincolnshire born and bred. loved it there but then i visited everywhere to try and learn more accents and what-not. my accent now changes all the time but its english nonetheless. i lived in a pretty alright area, it wasn’t the most expensive but it wasn’t a council street either."
"And what's up with your family?"
"well of course there is my mum and dad, my mums name is lucy and my dads is kevin. im an only child and all of my cousins and what-not are all younger than me. i have a few cousins but im closest to cass because she is the nearest to my age. i even have a few cousins who are 5 and 6 so im always on babysitting duty when im around. it’s weird as half my cousins are in america and the other half are in england. my mum and dad are still together and they live in england in a gorgeous house. "
"Now, tell me your story."
"Madison Collins was born in july of 1986 to Lucy Collins and Kevin Collins, one of those couples that you just knew would last. Kevin Collins was a farmer and it was clear he had hoped for a boy but he covered his disappointment and put all his time into being the best dad a little girl could have. he took her climbing and sailing, all things that he knew she would love and she quickly became a very outdoorsy girl. Sadly Kevin didn’t have a farm of his own but he often took Maddi to the farm where he worked and she helped out feeding various animals and clearing stalls. Maddi was never a girly girl, she liked to get muddy and she hated prancing around in heels and make-up all the time. Maddi’s mum was a dance teacher and so Maddi was quickly enrolled in many classes and she grew to love it though it was not something that came naturally to her.
Maddi went to a state school in her area and as much as her parents hated it, it was a pretty lower class school and Maddi soon developed a ‘common’ accent. Maddi hated the voice she aquired and learnt to mimic people with higher class accents and even different areas. Maddi’s parents wanted her to have a queens english accent so around them that was exactly what she sounded like but at school to fit in she had more of a common tone. Maddi liked being able to change her voice to suit what she was saying and it became a hobby. Her parents soon picked up on their daughter’s ability and asked if she wanted to have a go at acting to which she responded with a very positive yes. She was enrolled in stage coach which is a weekly session for actors and actresses which could lead to big things. Maddi settled in quickly to acting and it was soon realised that she could be whoever she wanted.
It was soon discovered that Maddi had a gift for comedy. She had always had a more mature sense of humour and she could make adults laugh with her jokes rather than her cuteness. She also knew what to say and she played up to the crowd very well. Maddi stayed at a normal school and then started to study for a teaching degree at university part-time whilst also filming for a program that was soon to become a hit. Maddi didn’t get the part she wanted but she played a common girl who got to wear heelies and do fun things like roll over the top of a car. It helped her meet her first serious boyfriend, a guy by the name of James. James played Maddi’s brother on the show but they soon had a very different relationship. The two were an unexpected couple but a very cute one at that. They both had a huge talent for comedy and they were together for over a year. The two split but stayed on good times, keeping to being close friends. Soon after that finished Maddi headed to Broadway to audition for Legally Blonde, she was the underdog, the no-one but she got the part, entertaining them with her strong American accent and huge comedy value. She brought a whole new level to the character and made her a lot more fun and relatable. Now her run in Broadway is over and she’s at Newport to put her teaching degree to good use."
