I THINK I'M LOST IN THE LETTERS.
[/blockquote][/ul]
, but you can call me Jason. my birthday's october 23rd, 1993, so if you're too lazy to do the math, that means i'm 15 years old right now. currently, i am a sophomore at newport high. you will find me hanging out with the writer kids. i'm also a male, in case you couldn't tell. oh! and i'm also straight, and if you can live with that, i'm sure we'll be great friends."[/blockquote][/ul]

WHEN HER REPLY MEANT EVERYTHING. [/blockquote][/ul]
"You look really familiar! Have I seen you before?"
"Who? Me? Haha, well, I guess to begin with, I've been told I look remarkably similar to Joe Brooks, some musician or other. I do not see the comparison, but that's just my opinion. The strings that grow from my scalp are debatable dirty blond to a very light brown. No one seems to make a huge differentiation between the two. Plus, unlike Mr. Brooks, I do not have the tattoo on my hand. Structurally, I'm not like most of the guys here at Newport. I'm kinda doughy without the pudge... if that makes any sense. I have natural muscles, but they are not toned or bulging through my clothes. So, I'm kinda gaudy? What's left? Oh! My eyes. Personally, I don't see what's so marvelous about them, but my grandmother insists that they are stunning beauties just like my grandfather's fairly light brown with hints of emeralds within them."
"So, what do you like?"
"What do I like? The generic things I should like at this age: girls, video games, music, etc. etc. Of course, my major interest is writing. Ever since I was just a wee tot, my dream job in life is to be a well published and praised novelist. One of my prized possessions is a composition notebook that I carried around in my younger years and is filled with various short stories. If you're lucky, I might just let you look at them, but chances are slim. And like any aspiring writer, I pride myself on the books cluttering my room that I can genuinely say I've read. But writing isn't the only thing I show interest in. I also play the guitar, but not very often. It's mostly there for bored entertainment."
"And the things you could live without? What about them?"
"Ah, the expected dislikes; there are a few that come to mind. First off, I must vocalize my extreme dislike towards dairy products. This hatred stems from years of lactose intolerance, of which annoys me to no end. I also happen to dislike upset stomachs, oranges, infidelity, drugs, bring upset, things missing, losing my train of thought."
"And what are the things you just can't stand?"
"When people snap their chewing gum. It is absolutely repulsive. I'm easily annoyed when the term 'delicious' is used in reference to things not edible."
"Do you have any bad habits? What about good ones?"
"Biting my nails, chewing on pens. I go through writing utensils on a regular basis. Of course, I'm very conscious of staying fairly healthy. Long walks, mostly. Oh, and I read a solid forty-five minutes every evening."
"Oh, really? Well, how about the secrets?"
"I don't really.. know my parents. I have one or two memories of them, but that's about it. I think the bigger secret is the fact I'm okay with not knowing them."
"And the fears?"
"I'm absolutely terrified of worms and losing my teeth. Granted, I never have concurrent nightmare of these fears, but they do creep me out."
"Do you have any special talents?"
"You may not call it a talent, but I can walk a good ten feet or so on my hands. I don't know, I've always took pride in that feat. I dabble in music, but nothing serious."
"And last but not least, what's your relationship status/history?"
"My relationship status? Well... clearly I'm single, never really put myself out there for a girl. I mean, I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. It's just high school. -laugh- Though, it probably doesn't help me any, knowing that I am a virgin. For a place filled with sex, it's kinda hard losing your virginity."
call me up to confess
THAT IT'S ME YOU THINK ABOUT.[/ul]"Where were you born?"
"Well, my Poppop used to do financial analysts for huge companies, so that would lift us to different locations. For a while, when I was fairly young, I lived in England for seven or eight years; West Yorkshire area to be exact. So, yes, I have a faint accent, noticeable in certain words. But I was born in this crazy city of Newport and we moved back here just a few years ago. I'm not overly fond of the area, but it's beginning to feel like home."
"And what's up with your family?"
"Like I've said, I don't really know my parents. I remember little things, like my mother giving me a pudding pack when she needed me to be quiet. Or how my father would try to interest me in sports. -laugh- That never stuck though. But I've been living with my grandparents since I was three or so, and now living just with my grandmother since Poppop's death. Grandmum Ethel is a great woman, probably one of my heroes. And even Poppop Richard can be called my hero as well."
"Now, tell me your story."
"Where to begin... where to begin... Well, I was born just fifteen years ago on October 23rd. My parents were blessed, or so my grandmum says. Apparently, they had been trying to conceive for sometime, but medical problems conflicted. And apparently, there were a few miscarriages before me. Anyways, I was about three or so when my parents kinda... disappeared. Well, they didn't really disappear. My mother had recurring cancer that actually took her, and my father well... my mother's death hit him pretty hard. I wouldn't say he wished not to deal with me, but I became a hassle and he asked my grandfolks to raise me. I guess that's a rather honorable thing, seeing as it wouldn't have been that healthy of an environment for me to stay in. My father ended up dying a few months after I started living with my parents. So from there, I've been living with my grandmum and Pop-pop first here until I was five, then England until I was thirteen. My grandmum wanted me to have some connection to my father's family, so whenever they had a family function while I was in England, Grandmum would bring me back to Newport for almost a week's time."
