Appearance: Skyla, though her name doesn't show it, was brought up in a Latina home and is of Spanish descent. She's a tan girl, obviously, with dark brown eyes. Her hair is also dark brown, almost black looking, and always shiny and perfect. Her lips are pretty big and always glossed to make them look not abnormal. With how she was raised, she's not the skinniest girl, but she has the curves to balance it out and look fantastic almost always. She dresses pretty average, but has her bold moments and wear what she's feeling, whetther it be lime green pants or a dress.
Personality: Skyla is a smart girl, smarter than most, but she doesn't show it often. She only does this because she isn't very future-oriented. She isn't the best role model for her little sister, who she loves, but doesn't often like because of her jealousy. She's not the best at making friends, with girls anyway, since she has found out from experience that they all tend to lead to pointless drama, which she hates.
She has become more careful of her relationships, since all the previous ones have turned out to be losers, and did all the wrong things. She's careful with decisions as well, since she sometimes regrets her abortion, but she had to do what she had to do. It was one of the hardst decisions she ever had to make in her entire life. Besides that, when you really get top know her, she's outgoing and loud, and a pretty decent person. She's not bitchy, but she doesn't usually make the first move for friends or boyfriends. She thinks drama is terrible, and only called for in specific situations. She thinks it shold be a last resort.

History: Skyla was born in a busy town in Pennsylvania. She moved to Newport after being expelled from her previous school for getting into various fights. She's only had three serious boyfriends: Ricky, Josh, and Matt. Ricky dumped her for someone else, she dumped Josh because he cheated on her, and Matt already had a child.The rest were just random hookups and pity relationships. Her mom and dad were together, until their divorce when she was ten. Skyla and Kylie live in Newport with their mother, and their father still lives in Pennsylvania. In her freshman year, Matt got her pregnant, and she had an abortion, because she had nowhere left to turn.
Because of her new status, friends are at a minimum for her, but her sister is adjusting rather well. She has no interest in any guys yet, but it's bound to happen sooner or later. Skyla has been trying to stick by herself since she arrived, because she isn't fond of the Newport bitchy attitudes in most of the girls at her new school. It won't be long before she gets into another fight. She's too worried for friends or boyfriends anyway, trying to help out her mother, because her divorce wasn't exactly a mutual decision.

Skyla walked into Newport High School, hoping she looked her best. It was her very first day at school and she wanted to turn heads. She'd been in Newport for about a week now, and she already missed her old home and her old friends. Well, the very few she had anyway. She looked around and whispered to herself, "Well, here goes nothing." Then she walked to her first class, just hoping and praying that it would just be simple enough and over as soon as possible. She sat through a really boring class and it happened to be science. Just her luck. She sat at the desk and daydreamed about what she would be doing now, if she were back home in Pennsylvania.
