I THINK I'M LOST IN THE LETTERS.
[/blockquote][/ul]
, but you can call me Ben, Jam, Jamin, B., Bacardi, Benji,, Benny. my birthday's November 7, 1990, so if you're too lazy to do the math, that means i'm seventeen years old right now. currently, i am a senior at newport high. you will find me hanging out with the jock kids. i'm also a male, in case you couldn't tell. oh! and i'm also straight, and if you can live with that, i'm sure we'll be great friends."[/blockquote][/ul]

WHEN HER REPLY MEANT EVERYTHING. [/blockquote][/ul]
"You look really familiar! Have I seen you before?"
"Probably. How many other tall, dark, and handsome guys do you know? -laugh- Well, how do I describe my looks? I'm of decent height, 6'1", with 180, 190 pounds on my build. But I'm not fat, by any means. I'm fairly muscular, but it doesn't look as toned as others are. Rosa and Maria both say I look likeJames Lafferty, but I don't see the resemblance. I have blue eyes, which is rare in my family. I'm kinda normal? At least, I dress normal. Jeans, typically, with a t-shirt. On colder days, I'll sport a sweater, but that's nothing unusual. Then again, you're likely to find me in gym shorts and a jersey, sometimes a heavily worn hoodie; for those early morning jogs."
"So, what do you like?"
"Basketball, by far, is my favorite thing in the world. Watching it, playing it, there isn't much that I don't like about basketball. Um, what else? -laugh- I have a favorite soup? Italian Wedding soup. Especially when homemade, then again, who doesn't love comfort food? Uh..you know those snacks or whatever with the prize in the box? I swear, I'm like a little kid whenever there is a prize involved. Then, I'm usually disappointed when it turns out to be a bracelet. I usually give those to either of my sisters. Old school rap, like Run DMC or LL Cool J, that kind of rap. I like to show off at times, basketball related, though our team is phenomenal this year. Uhh, well, chicks, obviously. "
"And the things you could live without? What about them?"
"Anything that will make a situation awkward... -laugh- I'm not too fond of school, especially now with even more rumors floating around. I guess gossip could be added to the list. I hate it when assumptions about me are made without factual knowledge. Not a big fan of modern rap, and certainly not a fan of the old me. I've changed quite a bit."
"And what are the things you just can't stand?"
"People who chew with their mouths open and those who will just make absurd assumptions on things. Stop jumping to conclusions before you know the story. "
"Do you have any bad habits? What about good ones?"
"I bite my nails, but that's a common one, I guess... As for good, I use my manners? Something my grandparents and parents tried to instill in me, but what Mylie really got through. I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them."
"Oh, really? Well, how about the secrets?"
"I don't know if these is much of a secret, a few know it, but this isn't the first time my ex Mylie has been pregnant. The first time was around last year, actually, but she got an abortion. Now, I guess, more directly related to me is that I've kinda always had a small crush on Georgia Morris, though, never bothered to pursue it."
"And the fears?"
"Balloons. Not hot air balloons, but party balloons and such. Mostly when they are blown up and make that squeaking noise or whatever when you play with them. It's a mild fear, I guess, but please don't give me a balloon. I'm afraid I'm going to be a terrible father, especially since Mylie and I are no longer dating."
"Do you have any special talents?"
"Well... I don't know if you'd count it, but basketball has always been a talent of mine. I can touch the tip of my nose with my tongue, but I don't show that skill off frequently. "
"And last but not least, what's your relationship status/history?"
"Currently, I am single. Am I virgin? -laugh- I think Mylie's growing stomach answers that question. If not, no I'm not a virgin. Not really looking for a relationship right now, I'm still trying to figure out how Mylie and I are going to work out the parents things as being friends. Do I want to be with someone? Kinda, but it's not a big concern right now. Like I said, I have plenty of other things on my plate to worry about."
call me up to confess
THAT IT'S ME YOU THINK ABOUT.[/ul]"Where were you born?"
"I was born in Rhode Island, on the East Coast, but my family moved out here before I was two, so.. there's isn't some strong emotional connection to Providence. Newport feels like home and I think it always will. I've lived here since I was two, I've gone to school here, and I've played sports here."
"And what's up with your family?"
"My parents... are funny. My mother, Nicola, is actually older than my father, Joesph, by a year or two; my math is a bit fuzzy. They kinda fit that old Italian stereotype, well.. more modern. Just subtract the crime, of course. My mother is a devote Catholic, so we tend to clash a bit, but she's still my mother. As for my father, we're almost the same person: hardworking, brash even, but good natured. My father might not always seem to be doing what's best, but he tries. That effort of his is admirable. Plus, with being his only son, I'm depicted as the prodigal child according to my younger sisters. Plus, I'm the oldest, so maybe they're not far off. Rosalie and Maria are my younger sisters, 14 and 13 respectively. My family is alright, I suppose. We're normal, really. We have our moments of chaos and the perfect family moments, too. And all the things my parents have acquired are due to hardworking labor."
"Now, tell me your story."
"I was born on November 7, 1990 at 5:49 pm; the only time my mother has ever missed a five o'clock mass, so I've been told. I guess that's how I was named Benjamin because of the birthing process taking an eternity and being difficult. My grandmother compared it to Rachel's, which the Priest had spoke of in the mass my mother missed. I told you she was a devote Catholic. It wasn't until a few years later, after we moved to Newport, that Rosalie was born. And just a little over a year after, Maria was born. After that, our family was complete, or so our parents believed.
Being the only male child, but having two younger sisters, I often caused a ruckus. You know, picking on the younger girls, breaking toys. I am still a bit of a jerk, in that brotherly way. Rosalie is taken advantage of my ties in high school to boost her own self up the ladder. Don't worry too much about her even if she's a naive "
