Its not as good as it should be but its not got an ounce of fat to it. His normal wear is a lab coat because of his work but when out of it he just wears t-shirt and jeans normally.
Personality: He's a very calm individual and has a soft heart when it comes to his patients. This all boils down to years of experience and a good bedside manner. He's very loyal and protective over his loved ones especially Izzy. He's gotten a few blows from Derek for it as well. He's a workaholic prefering work and using it as a distraction from his daily life. His 48 hour work schedule has awarded him the workaholic status though. He is a very private person prefering to keep himself to himself though when someone needs a shoulder he's willing to offer it.
Drew hides his emotions from those around him and never lets emotions get in the way of a job. Though he might be strict on his interns he does tend to be softer when he sees the softer side in return.

History: Drew was born the first child of a brilliant brain surgeon and his wife. Because of his fathers hours, he rarely got to spend time with his father which made their relationship a tricky one but all his life since he first stepped into a hospital to see his father at work he wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps. When he was nearly five his sister joined him in the Sheppard household and he came to love his sister more then anything becoming very very protective over her.
Though she was more of a spot light person and Drew was more of the guy in the shadows as they grew up he still adored her and lavished her with affection. But just as Laura joined high school Drew had to leave for Oxford in London. His dream to be a doctor drifted him away from his life with his family and for four/five years he hardly saw them. Whent he time came for internships Laura had moved away from New Port just as Drew moved back but this time he wasn't alone.
In University he had met a man called Edwards Scott and they had come back to New Port to attend together in Drew's home town as an engaged couple. His parents weren't very happy with Drew sexuality but Edward made them fall in love with him pretty easily. Drew was thrilled with the relationship but things took a turn for the worse when it was found that his father had a brain tumour. It devistated the family and then as if things weren't bad enough he got a call from his sister.
Her husband at the time was abusive towards her and while Ed worked on looking after Drew's parents Drew flew down to help Laura pack to return home. They returned home just in time for their father's surgery but he was left in a bad condition and Andrea and he husband were moved into a care home because the two could not be separated. Drew, Ed and Laura started to settle down in their parents home but a year afterwards Drew's life flipped upside down when Ed who had gotten them tickets to go see a play insisted on driving the ten miles to work on wet slippery roads to go and fetch Drew from work.
Unfortunatly Edward arrived in an ambulance and died an hour later sending Drew into histarics. It took Drew six months to return to work and being more determined then ever to keep himself preoccupied he threw himself into his work. He still hates rainy days as they remind him of Edward and the wounds of his death after two and a half years are still fresh on his mind. Drew plans to work his way up to chief of the hospital and is one year from getting it.
Role Playing Example:
It was a baby girl. Sure he would stay and help if he could. He would do absolutely anything for Clara. He would do anything to see her happy. He loved her to absolute bits. There was Tanner to think about though. Tanner was really harsh on the Doctor at times but he couldn't blame Tanner. He was a bastard to Tanner too. Its like he was trying everything in his power just to rally the poor bastard up.
Drew smirked in the darkness of the park. The only reason he was unable to be touched by the experiment is mainly because Clara would unlease her fury on Tanner. He was walking back to his appartment through the park from the hospital. They had to keep Clara in for a few days. It was only natural. He had been offered a lift by one of the other Elite.
He just wanted to walk and clear his head. After the night before he was wrecked. The new years ball had been a rough event. Tifa had snapped. He had seen it in her eyes. And then Mordred had also been there. He had heard Mordred. He had felt his caress. His mind wondered to the night the Elite had tried to get to Tifa via one of the Vampires.
The first time he had met Mordred. The first time he had held the Vampire. How beautiful he had been. He missed Eddie but he had to try and move on sometime. Drew shoke his head and sat down on a park bench. But no... not with a Vampire. Were there no decent guys? Did it have to be a Vampire?
Suddenly he heard a rustling and his eyes flicked to the direction he had heard the noise from. He got to his feet slowly and peered into the dark. His blue eyes stared nervously.
"Who's there? Show yourself!"
Maybe not the best thing to do really but he never really was a good judge of actions. .
