Name: HEIDI ROSE FLOYD
Nickname
Age and Year: Seventeen, Senior
Sexuality: Straight/Lesbian
Play-by: Kathryn Prescott
Marital Status: Single
Location: Dorms
Clique: Popular/Art geek
Appearance: The Floyd twins are both relatively short girls, at the height of 5'4”, but even though they are pretty much exactly the same height Heidi still swears she is the taller one. She's done so since they were little and has yet to stop, call it a running joke if you will. Neither of them are really all that special looking, both are pale redheads, both have relatively average bodies, petite but not mega skinny like some girls, rather.. just a healthy look shall we say. If one where trying to point out the differences between the two they might say that Heidi is slightly chubbier in the face, minus a mole and that her fringe slopes the opposite way to her sister's.
What really tells them is apart is clothing. Heidi tends to go for more outgoing, forward looking outfits and enjoys doing her hair up with bows and various accessories. Some of the time Heidi doesn't bother straightening her hair so as to “forcefully help” those who still refuse to learn the difference between her and Effy, although part of the time she still does, its a mood thing really. Heidi isn't one for wearing just jeans and a t-shirt, she like to make an effort if at all possible, but that doesn't mean always low cut and always dresses. Her look isn't necessarily preppy, not really that edgy or alternative, not really too much like a footballers wife, girly yes but typically a healthy medium between everything, fashionable for the most part but in her own cute little way. She has enough clothes to mix and match her looks, even though she often borrows her sister's clothes because they 'would look better on her anyway'.
Personality: Unlike her sister, Effy, Heidi is exactly the person she presents to you... well... mostly anyway. There is of course more to her than there first seems, she does keep secrets, she does have issues she hides, but instead of changing who she is in an attempt to please those around her she is a constant. Not that she willingly tells everyone absolutely everything about herself all of the time. Although typically, Heidi's face often conveys a certain approachable softness, perhaps seeming somewhat demure or shy, she's mostly an outgoing person, not overly so but in no way socially inept. She never hides her emotions, if she's angry at someone she will tell them, she will shout, if she's happy then she'll dance in the middle of a path and grin like a madman.
If you can get passed her stubborn nature and her strong will, or it simply doesn't bother you then she would certainly be a good friend, the kind soul, the joker, the secret keeper, if you will. She tends to find close friends in people who are able to stand up to her and who are actually able to get her to shut up when it comes to an argument. She has a saying, “if people don't like me as I am then they can get lost. Its not my problem”. One thing about herself she doesn't wear on her sleeve however is her feelings when it comes to relationships, in fact she is very odd in this sense that she hardly ever talks about guys she likes or has been out with. The simple fact of the matter is that she has in fact never really had a proper boyfriend, she has of course been with guys but she has never seemed become all that attached to one of them. Some where along the line she has realised that she might just not be interest in guys that way, but hell if she would ever admit to being homosexual, whether it is the truth or not.
Heidi tends to think she is the more dominant and outgoing of the Floyd twins. In fact, when compared she tends to think she is all kinds of things more that her sister. Sometimes she may be wrong of course, but she has a like of pointing out perceived differences between her and Effy. Heidi has always be adamant that her and her twin are completely different and to this end she hates it when people mistake her for her sister, or at least when she isn't even trying to act anything like her. Despite their major differences, when it comes down to it the girls are a quite similar in a lot of their opinions, for example they both hate guys who say things like “oh so you're twins? That's so hot”. They may argue a lot about the most irrational 'problems' you could imagine, but isn't that just what siblings do? No matter what the twin's love and respect each other and have agreed to always be loyal to each other and never ditch each other in a time of need for another.

Family Members: Jenna Floyd (46), Rob Floyd (48), Elizabeth "Effy" Floyd (twin sister)
History: It was the sixteenth of July when Elizabeth and her twin sister Heidi were brought into the world. When they were young everyone used to compare the twins, if one did good they other should too. They looked like the same person so many people thought that they should be the same person. One thing both girls like about they fact they looked identical was that they could fool everyone by pretending to be each other. The girls were in fact fraternal twins which meant that that they shouldn’t have looked identical but the girls still were insanely similar.
At Elementary School the twins were always mixed up and though sometimes they found it fun at times if just annoyed them. They both had their close friends but still even they struggled to tell the two “identical” twins apart. Although their appearances were still incredibly similar the differences in their personalities began to shine through. Effy was the quiet one, her opinions never being very strong and managing to stay on everyone’s good sides. Heidi on the other side was very opinionated and managed to make herself some enemies.
While Heidi never really had a strong interest like her sister's love of acting, she, even at a very young age, seemed to enjoy the act of arguing. Ever since she could talk she could be found with a grin on her face, and would sometimes argue with someone just for the fun of it. Of course as she grew up this arguing turned into a much more focused form of debating. In fact, in high school she eventually joined the schools committee and battle for all kinds of things for the students, mainly petty things like water fountains and vending machines, but still, it was one of her loves, next to her greatest love... Photography. If they ever went out in their spare time, she would almost never be seen without some form of camera “just in case”. Everyone knows a person who appoints themselves as the official photographer on any given special occasion, and that person was Heidi
As they reached High School the twins entered very different social groups. They continued to be close but their major differences in personalities meant they shared completely different friends. It was here that Heidi really developed into her own person. No more mistaking one twin for the other, anyone who had spent any time with either of them would instantly know which was which. Effy was the quiet one and Heidi, the loud, opinionated one. Just the way she liked. Being mistaken for each other even though they were quite obviously fraternal twins was one of her pet hates, she absolutely couldn't stand it.
It was also in high school that Effy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, meaning her body had a deficiency in insulin production, meaning she had to constantly watch her blood sugar levels. At first, Heidi was distraught, as anyone would be if one of their relatives was told they had a disease, but very quickly she realised she had to be the strong one. She could tell her sister couldn't handle the thought of it for a while, but Heidi did everything she could to protect her twin. She is forever reminding her to take her insulin and even goes as far to carry orange juice or chocolate with her in case Effy's levels go too far the wrong way. She knows instantly when her sister is having a headache as a result of diabetes, its become second nature to her in fact.
The Floyd’s then decided that they had had enough of Bristol and moved to Newport so Rob could get a good job. Heidi was semi-excited about moving to America at best. Out of the two sisters, Heidi was the most adamant about not moving. She absolutely did NOT want to move to America, not that she didn't like the states, she simply didn't want to leave her friends behind, but in the end it was Effy who managed to make her sister agree to the move. Knowing it wasn't up for discussion Heidi reluctantly enrolled at Newport High School along with her sister for their senior year. At first she hated it, but soon enough she had settled in like her dearest twin sister had so quickly.
Role Playing Example:
"Dude. Alec. Me and Eff are twins, of course there's more than a vague similarity between us." She chuckled, "Did you not notice dear?
Heidi had never met someone who could miss so many obvious answer to his obvious question. His stuttered reply to her statement about similarities apparently went practically unnoticed by him. Anyone with have a brain cell and a tiny bit of common sense would agree that the two look very similar. Had he yet to notice that they were twins? That was just unfathomable. Or maybe he was just one of rarest of creatures, the guy who can tell the difference in twins and treats them as separate people rather than two parts of one whole. Maybe this was his way of saying, 'you know, I just couldn't careless about how you guys look I just wanted to be your friend' and in that case Heidi was happy.
She smiled. For once, someone wasn't making a fuss out of the fact that she looked like another human being at the college. It was refreshing. Yes, Alec had managed to piss her off in one foul swoop earlier by calling her Effy, but it was no harm done when the guy seemed to just ooze charisma and refused to make a fuss out of how the Floyd sisters looked. Maybe she would get a normal conversation out of a guy for once. That would have been novel.
“Oh no. I'm not in theater, well... not as such anyway. I mean. I do a bit of stagecraft here and there but no like acting or anything.”
When one got passed her opinions, her stubborn nature and her outer shell when she was annoyed they would see that, yes, she was the angry twin as it were, but she was actually a very nice person. For that matter, she seemed to be somewhat more... 'naturally' outgoing that her actress sister. Oh sure, Eff may have acted like she was outgoing and confident, but Heidi knew her better than that. The girl had a tendency to behave in the way she thought people wanted her to, whereas Heidi couldn't give a damn about hurting peoples feelings if she knew she was in the right and said person was in the wrong.
”I'm actually a photography major” she noted with a smile. She found it amusing that his face said please don't kill me for asking these question. In all honestly she was used to that face. She didn't blame people for thinking she would get annoyed at them, it was only natural
