History: Trixie Shaye Grogan was born on February 10, 1993. She was unexpected, but very treasured. She has a younger sister named Kenadie. Trixie loves her family more than anything, especially her seven-month-old son. Her family means everything to her and she’d do anything for them.
Trixie had a pretty normal child hood. Her parents love her unconditionally and she’s always been a good girl. She started school a year late, but was bumped up two grades in the third grade, so she’s been ahead ever since. She’s a smart girl, school wise, but she’s made some not so smart choices. She started experimenting with boys when she was around thirteen years old and she ended up pregnant when she was fifteen years old. Now, she has a seven-month-old little boy named Caleb.
Every since Caleb’s birth, Trixie’s life has been a little more challenging, but it’s nothing she’s complaining about. She wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sometimes, she finds it hard to deal with Caleb and her school work, but she manages. She’s never regretted having Caleb, although she does sometimes wish that she was older, and not just another teen mom.
Role Playing Example:
Trixie let out a small laugh as Caleb splashed the water in the sink, getting her shirt wet. She was still in her pajamas, so she didn’t care much about getting wet; her shirt would dry. Since Arcadia was coming over, Trixie decided she’d use the time it takes her to get here to give Caleb a quick bath. She usually just puts him in the bathtub with her, but since this was just a quick wash down, she just did it in the kitchen sink. Not only was it a little easier, but it was kind of more fun than in the bath tub. She was having fun watching him play with a small plastic cup and a few of his bath toys. It seemed like Caleb enjoyed the sink better than the tub. That worked for Trixie. At least now she knows that there’s an easier way to get him clean when there’s a minimal amount of time.
Trixie ran a washrag over his body for the third time, just to make sure she got him clean, and she spread a towel out on the counter. She rinsed Caleb’s body off and she kissed his head as she laid him down on the towel. After she wrapped him up in the towel, she let the water out of the sink before picking Caleb up from the counter. She walked to the living room, where she’d gotten his clothes and diaper ready.
It took a couple minutes, but once she got him completely dried off, she got his diaper on. She squirted a little bit of lotion in her hand and she rubbed it over Caleb’s body and then kissed his cheek. “You smell good,” she said, receiving a babble. She laughed a little and she kissed his belly lightly, but gasped when Caleb grabbed a handful of her hair. “Let go,” she said. When Caleb squealed and kept hold of her hair, Trixie smacked his hand lightly. “Mommy said let go,” she said, sternly as she carefully pulled her hair from Caleb’s fingers.
Trixie rubbed her head for a few seconds and she looked at Caleb. “You can’t pull my hair; it hurts,” she said. “Arcadia’s coming over; you wanna see her?” Trixie smiled when Caleb kicked his feet excitedly and babbled. She loved it when he got excited. No matter what he got excited about, it was always cute. Trixie got Caleb into his onesie and she picked him up, standing him up on his feet as she held onto his hands. She couldn’t believe he could already stand up. “You babies just grow up way too fast,” she said.
