Sophie was a new girl to the area, hell she was a new girl to many things just by arriving to newport. She had moved in with two well known girls by the names Amelia and Alessandra Sanders. One may ask why Sophie would want to move in with two sisters which is seen by the majority to not be a recommended move but Sophie was basically their sister too. She had known them since they were young and having no siblings of her own Sophie had clung to the close pair. Amelia was older and Alessandra was the same age as the sweet red head so it was just perfect, she had a twin and a wise older sister. The three girls often acted so much like sisters that you wondered whether they were related but Sophie’s distinct look pulled her away from the other too and made it obvious there was no genetic link between them and her. She didn’t mind though, she loved them being her ‘sisters’ she had the good side of it without the fights and petty arguments. She could be with them all day but leave before they really began to get on her nerves; it was the best of both worlds in Sophie’s book. Sophie wasn’t just in a new town and a new house either; she was at a new school and in a new state. Sophie was worried about attending newport high school more than any other new student probably ever was and that was because she wasn’t just new to this public school, she was new to public school full stop. No, Sophie wasn’t some freakish home schooled kid, she had attended a rather prestigious school actually, NYAA, New York Academy of the Arts. Sophie was a theatre geek, she loved everything about it and was incredibly talented in her field. She was going to go somewhere, no-one could doubt that, just no-one was sure whether she’d become a singer, a dancer, an actress or a combination of the three. Sophie was doing wonderfully at NYAA but she decided that she wanted to be a normal kid, she wanted a chance to take normal lessons and be around people that weren’t fixated by some element of the arts, plus she heard newport had boys, sun, sea, sand and boys.
Sophie was at the beach and the sun was shining as she walked along the sand with the sea just touching her feet, heaven, one thing was missing, boys, but Sophie was managing just fine without that part of the equation. She sung along softly to herself as she walked happily across the beach with her flip-flops in her hand. Back at NYAA Sophie didn’t have much chance to just stroll along the beach so being here in newport was amazing for the young girl, just walking along as the sun beat down on her back. She wore her favourite Hollister bikinis and almost matching shorts, she wasn’t amazingly proud of her body but she did love bikinis so she wore that. She kept her shorts on as she walked across the sand and the water touched her feet making her smile. Sophie was often amazed by simple things and that created an almost childlike aura around her. She smiled at the smallest of things and she was often happy to just be left with little things to keep her occupied. She often cheered people up by saying slightly blonde things or just becoming like a child in a sweet shop and some people suspected it to be put on but it was just true Sophie, she got caught up in her own world and it just made everything so colourful and happy, she liked being that way and she wouldn’t change it for anything.
Sophie was waiting for her best friend and she was anxious, the two hadn’t spent a day together in a very long time and she was so excited. She just wanted to have a while day with Alessandra to herself, her best friend was hers for the day and she was incredibly excited. Sophie threw her shoes behind her so they landed in the sand and then she squatted down touching her fingers to the water and loving the cool feeling of the water soaking her fingers. She splashed the water lightly and scooped the sand between her fingers. Sophie’s small frame looked like a young child as she played in the sand but her bright magenta hair stood out a mile. She knew she didn’t have to look out for her friend because her hair stood out on its own. Sophie adored having her bright hair, she felt it reflected her brightly coloured personality and everyone that knew her said her hair was ‘so sophie’. She knew that her hair reflected the idea of her being a theatre geek but she loved that stereotype and that label because it fit her perfectly. Her life was music, dance and acting and she forever wanted it to be that way. She continued to sing to herself as she messed about in the sand and often she got confused looks from people in the sea a her behaviour directly mimicked that of a young child but in fact it was a fifteen year old girl that hung around with the water. She washed her hands in the water so all the sand came off and then she dried them on her towel that was laid out on the sand hehind her. She decided it was best not to put flip flops back on but she bent down to where her bucket was as she waited for her friend. She poured sand into the bucket and tipped it over so it made a perfect tower shape, Sophie was a master of sand castles.tag ! bonnie//alessandra ! word count ! 974 ! outfit ! click ! credit ! justlikefalling @ caution 2.0 ! lyrics ! just my luck , MCFLY ! notes ! notes go here !
